Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long does a session last?
A: A session lasts approximately 30 or 60 minutes.

Q: How much does a session cost?
A: The cost is $50 per session.

Q: What happens during a session?
A: A brief medical history form is completed during the first session. Only the shoes and socks are removed, and a short footbath is performed to relax and cleanse the feet.

The Reflexologist applies pressure with the thumb, index, and middle fingers using a caterpillar type movement to all of the reflex points on the feet. The hands also have reflex points and these are worked briefly after the foot portion of the session is completed.

Q: Does reflexology hurt or tickle my feet?
A: Reflexology does not elicit pain or a ticklish response. Instead, the typical response is a feeling of deep relaxation and well being. During the session, however, some reflex points may be tender which indicates that those areas need more attention. When a tender spot is found, the pressure will be adjusted according to the client's tolerance.

Q: What are the benefits of reflexology?
A: Reduces stress. Improves circulation. Increases energy. Cleanses the body of toxins. Reduces pain. Balances the body. Complements health care.
